Back in time…
It was four years ago today. It was a Saturday morning when i was about 12. I didn’t sleep very late back then so around 6:30 AM I walked downstairs to see my dad looking up some yankees article on the computer. The article spoke of some big name free agent who everyone wanted that chose the yankees. Heres a similar article to the one I read that morning.

No, this is not sarcastic, or a joke, its 100% true. Brian Cashman flew to San Fran. Tuesday night to meet with Sabathia after he requested a meeting. Sabathia chose the yanks. More to come on a full entry later.

Draft Picks: Who Needs Them?!
This is the current logic being used by the yankees front office after they have chosen not to offer any of their free agents arbitration. None. Zip. Nada. Lets discuss.

Mark Teixeira Rumors
I’m in England right now until Monday. Its 11:39 PM. I can’t sleep cause my body thinks it 6:39 PM. Probably not gonna be able to fall asleep until 1:00. Damn jet lag. Oh well…
There’s a rumor going around that the Halos are finished with Mark Teixeira, which means they are done with contract negotiations and are going to pursue C.C. Sabathia. In my opinion, C.C. doesn’t even want to come to NY and wants to go to SoCal where hes building a new house.
The bums (excuse me, front office) better make some moves and sign a few free agents before its too late.

In other news… Fed up with not receiving a response from C.C. Sabathia, Hal Steinbrenner had a Yankee official meet with Sabathia. Hal was positive this would seal the deal.
